Charging

Be clear about what you charge; by being clear about money, you support both yourself and your client in having more of it. If you are operating in survival mode around money, and you’re afraid that you won’t have enough, then you won’t charge enough, and you’ll work for less than you charge. In order to be successful, and in order to support your clients in being successful, you have to charge enough, and you have to stick to your stated price.

You can help your clients in being successful in this. If you say “well, I charge $60 per hour, but since you can’t afford it, I’ll only charge you $30,” then you are saying to that person that you are not really worth $60 an hour. You are also helping that person in stay in poverty around money; you are saying “it’s true that there is not enough.” You are playing into their neurotic thinking.

Because people build trust around money issues, you can make a big difference in your relationships by not undercharging. You can communicate to people that you are worth what you charge. Everyone you talk to will walk away knowing that you are serious about what you do. If you are clear and strong about money, you will inspire trust with your clients at a much deeper level. They will see that you are not in survival mode, but that you are living fully and with enough to be happy. They will see that you are much more connected to the universe.

Lastly, by being clear about money, you can create good energy around money in the universe that will benefit yourself and others. Simply by charging what you deserve and sticking to it, you will find that you increase your business.
