ACTIVE/PASSIVE

Use active voice rather than passive voice. This means make the interesting word the verb, rather than using “be” or “is” as a verb. This gives your language much more power. It also helps connect you to your audience.

Right: You will stretch and sing songs. Wrong: You will be stretching and singing songs.
